Best Gas Grills Between $250 and $500 for 2021

Once we move away from the least expensive Gas Grills we start to find larger, more powerful units. The grills on this list, Best Gas Grills Between $250 and $500,  are generally powerful enough to do some intense searing and are perfect for the most popular grilled items. I still recommend avoiding a lot of extras. Side burners in this range are a good choice and they tend to be powerful enough to heat a large pot and actually function like a real gas burner. Typically in this price range, you find porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates and BTU outputs closer to the 100 per square inch that provides real heat. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, but these are the items to look for. I still recommend avoiding the big shiny grills, particularly those with five or more burners. These are signals of poor construction quality and are sold on the idea that bigger is better. It isn't. Most people can do their grilling on two or three burners and the grills on this list reflect that.
