Full Review - Delta Heat 32-Inch Built-in Gas Grill
Legendary grill designed Dante Cantal struck out on his own many years ago, creating Twin Eagles. These are among the best gas grills on the market and one of the best choices for outdoor kitchen appliances. Delta Heat is their 'cheaper', more affordable line of grills. Don't think of this as a discount brand. The Delta Heat 32-Inch Built-in Gas Grill is an amazing gas grill. It is powerful with excellent engineering. Yes, as a basic grill that runs $2,300USD it isn't cheap, but it is still a great value.
I said this was a basic grill. There are many options that can be added on. Of course, these are going to bring the price up. You can get this model with a full rotisserie system for an extra $200 or add in an infrared internal sear burner. Personally, I recommend the rotisserie system with the initial purchase. The infrared sear burner is nice, but many people don't find them that useful. It can be added later if you choose.
When designing an outdoor kitchen you look to the gas grill first. From here you add in all the extras. Delta Heat has a full range of outdoor kitchen appliances and accessories. All of them of the best construction. It is truly an impressive line, especially considering that it isn't this companies flagship products.
But we are talking about his grill specifically. So what makes it so good. As I have said it is probably the best-looking gas grill insert in its price range. The three burners are stainless steel tubular burners. They are large and designed to deliver even heat. They are not cast stainless or brass, but they are thick and solid. Sitting under trays of ceramic briquettes that protect the burners, reduce flare-ups, and even the heat. You will find that this grill produces a high and even heat. It is a professional level of heat that can be dialed down for low temperature cooking and hit ridiculous temperatures at the same time. The cooking grates are heavy stainless steel rod and provide for excellent contact heat.
The Bottom Line
As the heart of any outdoor kitchen solution, this is an excellent choice. Anything above this grill in price is as much luxury and prestige as it is about cooking performance. If you want the best, for a more 'budget friendly' price, you can not go wrong with the Delta Heat 32-Inch Built-in Gas Grill.
